If you’ve been to our restaurant recently you might have run into this guy. ‘Salmonwolf’ is a driftwood sculpture by Guthrie Gloag, a biologist and emerging artist raised in British Columbia. His awesome hunting wolf sculpture is made of reclaimed driftwood and features a bronze wolf skull inside. Gloag’s work focuses on expressive animal and human forms – more of his work can be found in Madrona Gallery in Victoria or Mountain Galleries at the Fairmonts in Whistler, Banff and Jasper. Come and say hi to our wolf or take him home on one of our branded toques, available at the restaurant this fall!
